hello, notes
the footer of this site has said “notes, soon” for a while now. this is me making it stop lying.
i’m keeping the format the same as everything else here: plain html, no build step, no framework, no comment section. a note is just a folder with an index.html in it. when i want to publish, i copy this file, rewrite it, and add a line to the index and the feed. that’s the whole system, and the friction being that low is the point — the fancier the setup, the less i’d actually write.
what goes here: things i figured out and don’t want to re-figure-out later. the homelab is a bottomless well of those — how i got six machines meshed for zero dollars, what broke, what i’d do differently. some ops notes from hack club. probably a few half-formed takes on ai that i’ll regret. bio, once purdue starts.
no schedule, no promises about frequency. if you want to know when something new lands, the rss feed is the honest way to follow — no algorithm deciding whether you see it.
that’s it. more soon — the real kind of soon this time.
